Background. Penetrating spine injuries can cause catastrophic complications to the patient, and it demands immense medical care minimize insult. Mainly, occurs in military field; however, has become more prevalent among civilians due gun availability. The thoracic is most affected part, followed by cervical lumbar spine. Case report. A 15-year-old teenage boy had a penetrating injury (T10) vertebrae missile bullet that resulted bilateral lower limb weakness required him undergo decompressive laminectomy. During surgery, missed hemothorax was discovered incidentally. Conclusion. To best of author's knowledge, this case associated with not been previously reported. This paper discusses importance early detection treatment trauma improve patient survival disability.
